Hi, I’m Dave from Alpha Power Cleaners, and today I’m going to show you if you have any problems with suction on a Tennant T7 ride-on machine.
First of all, make sure that the vacuum is on. If this isn’t on, check that the sensor in the dirty water tank is located in the downward position. If it’s stuck on, it will not switch the vacuum motor on. Also, make sure that the light indicator on the dashboard is lit as well.
If you’ve got suction but it’s not sucking up through the squeegee bar, check the dirty water tank is empty. And then check the suction hose has got no debris in it.
If the suction hose is clear, remove the squeegee bar and check for any blockages in the squeegee bar.
If you’re still having problems – unless it’s streaking – if it’s streaking, look at the squeegee blades and give the blades a wipe, and that should sort out your streaking issues.
If there are any other issues, you need to call Alpha Power Cleaners.
