We are very flexible with our hire periods. For most machines, you can hire from between 3 days to over 3 years.
Yes you can. If you have an old machine, and want to replace it with a new hire machine, we will come and collect your old machine free of charge.
Customer Support / Office Administrator – Full-time
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers in line with both customer and business requirements in a consistent and professional manner.
- Work as part of the Alpha Power Cleaners team, demonstrating the flexibility required to deliver business requirements.
- Meeting and greeting customers.
- General office administration.
- Answering phone calls and processing through the system.
Assisting the Office Manager as and when required with the following:
- General office admin
- Production of invoices
- Receipting of parts
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels
- Maintaining and growing our presence online through our eBay Shop platform.
- Updating the company website with products and promotions.
Assisting the Business Development Manager as and when required with the following:
- Production of written quotations
- Contacting both existing and potential customers to establish a relationship and arrange meetings
- Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities
Person Specification – Essential Criteria
- The ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work on own initiative

Training
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant through a variety of both in‑house and manufacturer‑based training courses.
Vehicle Mechanic / Maintenance & Handyman – Part-time
Responsibilities & Duties
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on the company’s fleet of cars and commercial vehicles.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs where appropriate.
- Carry out regular vehicle checks to help ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable and roadworthy.
- Undertake routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, brakes, batteries, bulbs, wipers and other general mechanical repairs.
- Identify vehicles requiring specialist repairs and assist with arranging external garage work where necessary.
- Help prepare vehicles for MOTs and servicing.
- Monitor general vehicle condition and highlight any upcoming maintenance or repair requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of the company’s premises.
- Carry out minor repairs and general handyman duties around the site as required.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of trailers, machinery and other company equipment where appropriate.
- Source or assist with ordering vehicle parts and maintenance materials.
- Work as part of the Alpha Power Cleaners team, demonstrating the flexibility required to meet the needs of the business.
- Undertake other practical maintenance and repair tasks as required from time to time.
Person Specification – Essential Criteria
- Good practical knowledge and experience of vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common vehicle faults.
- A practical, hands-on approach with good general maintenance and DIY skills.
- Ability to work safely and use tools and equipment correctly.
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
- Reliable with excellent punctuality.
- Good attention to detail and pride in completing work to a high standard.
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of maintenance and handyman tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a small, friendly team.
- Full, Clean, UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working as a vehicle mechanic, technician or similar.
- Experience maintaining vans and light commercial vehicles.
- Relevant mechanical or motor vehicle qualifications.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- Experience with general property, workshop or equipment maintenance.
Hours
This is a part-time position, with working days and hours to be agreed. We are happy to discuss a flexible working arrangement with the right candidate.
The position may particularly suit an experienced or semi-retired mechanic looking for regular part-time work and a varied, practical role.
Training
Any necessary training relating to Alpha Power Cleaners’ equipment, working practices and site requirements will be provided to the successful applicant.
Service Engineer – Full Time

We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our growing team.
This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days look the same. You’ll work across a broad range of professional cleaning equipment, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs both in our workshop and on customer sites.
