Hi, I’m Dave from Alpha Power Cleaners and today I’m going to show you how to empty the dirty water tank on the Tennant T300. Open the lid to see the dirty water inside. There is also a catch tray that collects small debris – this should be emptied regularly. Inside you will find a cage filter with ping pong balls. These rise as the tank fills with water, eventually cutting off the machine when full. Some machines have an electric nodding donkey sensor for the same purpose.

It is important to drain and clean the dirty water tank thoroughly between each use. Every time you refill with clean water, empty the dirty water tank and rinse it out.
