Hello, my name is Rob Freeman and welcome to Alpha Power Cleaners. Today we’re going to look at the Tenant T500 pedestrian floor scrubber dryer and in particular how to charge the machine. Now, this particular machine on our higher fleet is fitted with wet batteries. So, it is important to ensure they’re well ventilated when charging. To do so, empty the recovery tank, lift the recovery tank, and leave it in the open position while we charge the machine. This machine has an onboard charger, which means all you need to do is unwrap the cable, plug the machine on charge on the wall, and turn the power on.

There is lights on the front control panel to confirm it’s charging, and the charger can be seen at the rear of the machine. As with all floor scrubber dryers, it’s important not to opportunity charge the machines. This means that the machine should show low before taking it to its charge station. Once plugged in on charge, it should be left for its full charge cycle.
