Hi, I’m Nick from Alpha Power Cleaners. Today we’re going to be discussing the Tennant T12 ride-on scrubber dryer and in this particular video we’ll be discussing troubleshooting points when you find that the machine does not have optimal suction power.
First thing to do is to ensure that your recovery tank is clear and not dirty. Please ensure that the caps on both hoses at the back of the machine are securely fastened.
The other thing to remember is there is an electronic sensor for when the machine is full. If this sensor is dirty, you’ll find that it will be in the upright position and the machine will think that the recovery tank is full, and therefore it won’t engage the suction function.
If you’ve checked all of these and you still don’t have any suction, please call us and we’ll get an engineer out as soon as possible.
However, if you find that you’ve got suction power but it is still not working optimally, there are one or two things to check. Please ensure that the suction hose at the back of the machine is clear of any blockages. If there are no blockages, then move on to the squeegee bar. Simply take the squeegee bar off, flip it over, and ensure there is no debris or muck potentially blocking it from performing optimally.
