Scrubber Dryer 101: Part 3 – The Control Panel
Over the last two months we have walked you through all the different elements of the scrubber dryer to help you get to grips with this efficient cleaning machine before you hire or purchase one for your domestic or commercial requirements. From the water tanks to the vacuum unit and the squeegee, we have covered all the various components that make up the scrubber dryer, and now we come to the end of our tour with a closer look at the control panel of the scrubber dryer.
Where is it?
The final element of the scrubber dryer, the control panel is situated in an ergonomically crafted handle that allows for optimum steerage and over watch of the cleaning process. In larger models that you can drive around on, this will be situated in front of the driver seat, while in smaller models the handle and the control panel therein will stand upright from the rear of the machine, allowing you to drive it around.
How does it work?
In the panel you will find the controls to switch the vacuum and solution pumps on and off as necessary, and in more expensive models there will even be indicators in the panel to inform you of the current levels of cleaning solution and collected waste water in their respective tanks, allowing you to plan your clean appropriately. Likewise, a battery level indicator may also be installed in the panel to inform the user of how long the power will last, as scrubber dryers come in both cabled and battery versions.
